A GLIMPSE INTO 2017.

AH, OH-AH, OH-AH, LARALARALARA, LA, SO HIGH…SO HIGH!!!!

“IN MY RECENT MEMORY, ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS SAW ME STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF A LIGHTLY FALLING LIGHTS IN BETWEEN THOUSANDS OF PAPER BUTTERFLIES DESCENDED UPON THE CROWD OF 30,000 PEOPLE. BETTER YET, THE MUSIC OF A LIVE COLDPLAY CONCERT WAS PENETRATING MY EARS AND I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER. YOU PROBABLY WOULDN’T BELIEVE ME, BUT AT THAT MOMENT I TOLD MYSELF, “DO NOT EVER FORGET THIS, THIS IS PERFECT.” IT WAS A MOMENT THAT I THOUGHT COULD NEVER BE RELIVED, SOMETHING THAT I MIGHT TELL MY HYPOTHETICAL KIDS, YEARS AFTER MY HYPOTHETICAL WEDDING”… HAHA!

Well tonight, it happened this time, it was in Abudhabi.

No matter how many videos of Coldplay’s live concerts you have watched over Instagram, Youtube and Facebook yet being there is something that is unforgettable. People screamed, clapped, shouted, sang, jumped danced to any song they loved and lost in their world.

By the time Coldplay arrived, over 30,000 fans packed into Du arena and were buzzing with excitement.Wristbands lit up on every hand. Coldplay naturally belong in big arenas, and the production element of a Coldplay show is incredible.

Fireworks at Du arena.

The New Year’s Eve concert by rock band Coldplay at du Arena on Yas Island pulled in an estimated 30,000 people. Yellow remains the band’s calling card after being released 15 years ago. Their energy is addictive and caused the audience to stand on their feet for the entire concert. Coldplay performed on three stages with cutting-edge production – lighting rigs beamed out a swirls of colours as wristbands worn by more than 30,000 attendees lit up in hues.

The Scientist – Everyone adores this song right? There’s something special about hearing 30,000 people sing such beautiful lyrics in sync. I’ve had “nobody said it was easy” stuck in my head alllll day, this was a total highlight of the night.

WE’RE GOING TO GET IT GET IT TOGETHER, RIGHT NOW!!! UP AND UP AND UP

Hands in the air!
